You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

You retain ownership of content you create (reviews, notes, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it as part of the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

• Violates any law or regulation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Is harmful, abusive, or harassing
• Contains malware or malicious code
• Impersonates others or is misleading

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or watermarks

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Stupid Human (trading as Spine) and protected by intellectual property laws.

Book covers and metadata are provided by third parties (Google Books) and are subject to their respective terms. Background images are provided by Unsplash under the Unsplash License.

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

• Google Books (book data)
• Unsplash (background images)
• Bookshop.org (affiliate links)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Stripe's Consumer Terms.

Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day refund window. You may cancel your subscription and request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase date or within 14 days of the most recent renewal date. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the same payment method used for the original transaction. No refunds will be issued after the 14-day window has passed.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until then.

We reserve the right to modify pricing and features with reasonable notice.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Book data will be complete or accurate
• Your data will never be lost (please export regularly)

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
